Meet The Team
Christine “Kiki” Tobin PT, Owner
Kiki Tobin founded Active Life Physical Therapy in 2010 with the goal of helping motivated people become more healthy, active and mobile so they can enjoy the people and activities they love whether it’s moving through daily life pain free, participating in a sport for recreation or competing in an event.
Kiki earned a BS Physical Therapy from the University of New England and a BS in Biology from the University of Southern Maine in 1987. She has taken many courses encompassing manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, foot and ankle biomechanics, running mechanics and injury prevention, muscle activation techniques, resistance training, kinesiology taping techniques, muscle energy techniques, Integrative Dry Needling, ASTYM soft tissue regeneration. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Sports Medicine Section.
Kiki has worked in many settings as a physical therapist specializing in orthopedics, spine rehabilitation and sports medicine. She grew frustrated with her inability to fully utilize her skills in busy traditional clinics. Active Life exists to meet the needs of individuals with exhausted insurance coverage, chronic issues that haven’t been resolved with other treatment modalities and those that desire a more in depth personal approach. Kiki develops solid and long lasting relationships with her clients to promote and maintain healthy, active lifestyles. In her spare time, Kiki enjoys running, biking and swimming for Sprint and Olympic triathlons, waterskiing, hiking and skiing.
